About This Course
This CLE course provides an intensive examination of the legal issues involved when a potential client is arrested and charged with a DUI. The course examines the elements the prosecution must prove in their case, common and uncommon DUI defenses, and global issues related to constitutional rights, such as the right to remain silent.
It also addresses issues involving driver's licenses and the Department of Motor Vehicles. While the course focuses on California, many of the lessons and defenses discussed are broadly applicable, particularly those involving constitutional protections.
