This CLE course will provide an overview of how the new law impacts residential and commercial tenancies and proceedings. The HSTPA has had an immediate impact on the practice of Landlord/Tenant Law, whether litigating summary proceedings or handling administrative law issues before the DHCR, or simply providing advice to a client on typical landlord-tenant issues. This CLE course provides basic information on major changes to the NY Real Property Law and Real Property Actions and Proceeding Law since HSTPA's enactment.
