About This Course
Basic zoning regulations for large US cities will be reviewed. These regulations assign zoning designations to tax lots that determine: (i) permitted uses; (ii) maximum building size; (iii) maximum building height; and (iv) required open space such as front and back yards.
Examples of tables, charts and maps that typically contain these regulations will be reviewed. Methods of modifying a tax lot's zoning regulations to change the use or size will also be reviewed.
