Although bias typically has a negative connotation, one can be biased in favor of a thing, a smell, or a person in a positive way. On the flip side, bias also plays a role in discrimination.

The purpose of this CLE course is to explore bias and its role in discrimination within the practice of law and in situations where attorneys may advise clients. Additionally, suggestions for addressing bias and implementing solutions on a personal and organizational level are also considered.
