Arnie Mascali is a Managing Director with Imperium Consulting Group, LLC,
based in New York. He leads a multi-disciplined team of engineers,
accountants, industry experts, and other specialists across Imperium’s offices.
Mr. Mascali’s mission is to provide organizations with clarity on economic
loss and to support business resiliency with cutting edge risk management.
Mr. Mascali is an attorney and a risk management professional with more than 30
years of experience in all aspects of property and casualty insurance law,
arbitrations, trials, and claims.
Mr. Mascali began his career as an insurance trial and coverage attorney in New
York and New Jersey and quickly developed a national reputation as a leading
insurance expert, becoming one of the most experienced professionals in the
industry. Mr. Mascali has managed more than $10 Billion in claims and has
provided innovative and strategic thinking to solve problems for numerous
Fortune 100 and 500 companies, public entities, and other organizations,
dedicating his career to promoting business resilience.
In 2001, after a decade in private practice as an attorney specializing in insurance
claims and litigation, Mr. Mascali joined Aon, Inc. and rose to Managing Director
of Aon’s Global Property Risk Consulting group and a member of the Aon Global
Risk Consulting US Operations Board. He managed the response to some of the
largest property and business interruption claims in history, arising out of
catastrophes such as September 11th, Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy, among
many others. In January 2013, he joined Brown & Brown to create Procor
Solutions + Consulting, an innovative technology and risk management
consulting firm that guides clients through pre-loss disaster preparedness and
business continuity planning, and post-loss property claims and analytics. Under
Mr. Mascali’s leadership in 2021, Procor Solutions + Consulting was named a Top
10 Risk Management Services Company.
Mr. Mascali is recognized as an industry thought leader, whose views, opinions
and commentaries are frequently sought by the media. He has appeared on
CNBC, Fox Business Channel, and Bloomberg TV and has been interviewed by USA
Today, Houston Chronicle, Business Insurance magazine, and many other industry
publications. He is an active leader in the industry, participating in speaking
