About This Course
With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic many areas of the law have been hard hit however, few have been hit harder than landlord-tenant law which has suddenly become a national topic of conversation with rapidly changing laws and national/state moratoriums being put in place.
In this course, we will explore the basic concepts of New Jersey landlord-tenant law which has always been highly regulated however, in the COVID era practicing in this area of law has become considerably more difficult than normal. Now, practitioners are faced with navigating several sets of fluid laws while trying to figure out ways to get relief for their clients during these difficult times.
Presented by Kenneth W. Biedzynski, Esq., this course will canvas and discuss an overview of New Jersey landlord-tenant law in the COVID era.
In addition to discussing the above concepts practitioner forms will also be presented and discussed. Learning Objectives:
- Review laws applicable to commercial and residential tenancies;
- Discuss concerns and issues relating to handling various types of eviction matters in the State of New Jersey;
