About This Course
Chapter 7 of the United States Bankruptcy Code provides a fresh start for most debtors. A bankruptcy discharge under this Chapter relieves Debtors of any legal obligation to repay any and all debts listed in the schedules. However, not everyone qualifies for a Chapter 7 discharge and not all debts are subject to discharge.
This CLE lecture will review each statutory exception to discharge and discuss strategies for defending objections filed by creditors and the US Trustee.
