This course will address succession planning options for attorneys, including highlighting the differences between an internal succession plan, an external succession plan, and a contingency plan in the event of an attorney’s unexpected disability or death.

Topics will include: (i) The components involved with valuing a lawyer’s practice; and (ii) The numerous NY Rules of Professional Conduct involved with succession planning for lawyers.
