About This Course
Since the rise of modern commerce, the need to cross jurisdictional boundaries for discovery during litigation, and the enforcement of judgements arising therefrom, has existed.
This CLE course provides an historical overview of the development of this issue in the Western world as well as practical resources for the United States practitioner to effectively cross state and international boundaries when necessary, in the zealous representation of their client.
A general understanding of the historical development of this issue is necessary to diplomatically navigate the contemporary case. The practical tools provided in this course facilitate it.
