About This Course
The Fundamentals of Family Law will explore basic substantive and procedural requirements related to divorce, asset division, support and custody. The difference between the 3301 (c) and the 3301 (d) divorce, practical considerations when filing for divorce, and the potential consequences as they may relate to a support action, equitable distribution of marital assets, interim relief throughout the divorce process, custody pleadings and requirements, custody rights of grandparents and other third parties, spousal support, alimony pendente lite, alimony and child support will be discussed.
This course will provide the basic requirements for initiating a divorce, custody or support matter, as well as procedural considerations related to each action.
