Accreditation and CLE Rules for Mississippi
National Academy of Continuing Legal Education is a provider of accredited CLE courses throughout the country.
Mississippi attorneys are required to take 12 credit hours every year including 1 credit hour of Ethics.
Mississippi attorneys can complete up to 6 CLE credits with the National Academy of Continuing Legal Education using our Online & iOS/Android App distance learning courses.
Mississippi attorneys must complete their continuing legal education requirements by July 31st every year. The reporting deadline is August 15th.
Attorneys may carry over 12 credits into the next reporting period. Ethics credits can be carried forward as general credits.

About This Course
As the need to produce and examine ESI grows, attorneys will be expected to be technologically educated and sophisticated. This presentation will review the challenges of preserving and gathering this ESI, dealing with the clients use of social media, and the ethical pitfalls that need to be avoided.
This CLE will address the ABA's Model Rule 1.1 and the obligation on the part of attorneys.
