Margaret T. Ling, Esq.
Margaret T. Ling has been a real estate attorney since 1986. Her real estate experience commenced with a private real estate practice for almost a decade. Prior to practicing as a real estate attorney, Ms. Ling was a Law Clerk for Chief Judge Constance Baker Motley of the United States District Court –Southern District of New York. Following her clerkship, she focused on the area of immigration law before transitioning into real estate law.
Currently, Ms. Ling is the Senior Underwriting Counsel at MacGregor Abstract with offices in Long Island. For the past twenty years, she has been in-house counsel in the title insurance industry working in First Nationwide Title Insurance Company, Skyline TRG Title Agency, Summit Associates LLC, Liberty Title Agency LLC, Couch Braunsdorf Insurance Group, Landstar Title Agency Inc., Intracoastal Abstract Co. Inc., and Titleserv Inc. At these firms, she was responsible for all legal title underwriting, reading, clearing and processing of all title files for closing. She coordinated all title underwriting requirements with the Agent’s respective Title Underwriters and also addressed all post-closing escrow and policy matters. Ms. Ling also held positions at major New York title underwriters including Stewart Title Insurance Company and Ticor Title Insurance Company- The Fidelity Title Group. She provided underwriting and legal support for over 300 New York State Title Agents and Direct Operations.
She is active in many associations including serving as Co-Chairperson of both the Real Estate and Asia Practice Committees of the Asian American Bar Association of New York. She is also a member of the National Asian Pacific Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Queens Asian Bar Association, the Korean Lawyers Association of Greater New York and the Asian Pacific American Lawyer’s Association of New Jersey. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Asian Real Estate Professional Association, Asian Columbia Alumni Association, and New York Law School Alumnae Association. She was awarded the “Most Valuable Player Award” in 2013 for outstanding dedication and service to AABANY and the New York Law School Award in 2010 for Distinguished Service in Diversity and Progress.
Ms. Ling is also a member of the United States Golf Association and the New Jersey PGA Golf Foundation. Since 2012, she has been on the Pro Am Team for the LPGA Shoprite Acer Classic.
Ms. Ling received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Cum Laude and Dean’s List from Barnard College – Columbia University and her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, Appellate Division, and Second Department.
Wendy Hoey Sheinberg, Esq.
Wendy Hoey Sheinberg is partner to the firm in the Personal, Family & Business Planning Practice Group, concentrating the areas of Guardianship, Elder Law, Special Needs Planning, Trust and Estate Planning and Trust and Estate Administration. She has presented at numerous seminars on Elder Law and Estate Planning, Senior Housing and on Probate and Estate Administration and has lectured for the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and many other notable local civic and religious groups.
Wendy has published articles in the New York State Bar Association Law Journal, the University of South Dakota Law Review, the NAELA Quarterly, Senior News and the Journal of the Nassau County Bar Association. Wendy has been interviewed and quoted in such notable publications and news services as U.S. News and World Report, the New York Times, Newsday and Dow Jones Newswire.
Wendy has been certified by the National Elder Law Foundation as a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA).
She was selected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Selection as a Fellow is the highest honor bestowed by the Academy. Election as a Fellow signifies that his/her peers recognize the lawyer as a model for others, and as an exceptional lawyer and leader. Selection as a Fellow acknowledges the highest degree of commitment to serving older persons and people with special needs. Wendy is also a member of NAELA.

Wendy was named to Hofstra Law’s Outstanding Women in Law Awards in 2018 and Long Island Pulse Magazine Top Ten Legal Eagles of 2014.
Wendy has been named to Best Lawyers in America® for Elder Law and Trusts and Estates from 2013 to 2022. In addition, she was named a 2021 Lawyer of the Year. This recognition is awarded to individual lawyers with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region. Wendy was named one of Long Island’s top 50 women in 2020 by Long Island Business News.
Wendy was appointed to serve as the Vice Chair of the Elder Law Committee for the New York County Lawyers Association and serves as Vice President of the Long Beach Lawyers Association. Wendy is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates section and serves as a Vice Chair of its Elderly and Disabled Committee.
Wendy is a past member of the Special Needs Alliance and is a past member of the Board of Directors of NAELA and is a member of the board of directors of the Long Beach Lawyers’ Association.
Pauline Yeung-Ha, Esq.
Pauline Yeung-Ha is a partner in the Grimaldi Yeung Law Group. Ms. Yeung-Ha
concentrates in the practice areas of Elder Law and Estate Planning and Special
Needs Planning.
Ms. Yeung-Ha is a Member of the House of Delegates of the New York State Bar
Association (NYSBA), and a Trustee on the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn
Bar Association. She also serves as one of the Board of Directors of the New
York Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
Pauline Yeung-Ha extends her work with the elder community as Secretary on
the Board of Directors of CaringKind (formerly Alzheimer’s Association, NYC
Chapter), and as Chair Emeritus of the Pro Bono Clinic of the Asian American
Bar Association of New York (AABANY). The Pro Bono Clinic was named as
AABANY’s Committee of the Year for 2016 and Program of the Year for 2017
and awarded New York State Bar Association’s Bar Leaders Innovation Award
for 2020.
Ms. Yeung-Ha’s recognitions include being an Honoree of the St. John’s
University School of Law Chapter of the Asian-Pacific American Law Student’s
Association (APALSA) in 2018, “Super Lawyer” from 2015 to 2022, and “Best
Lawyer” from 2012 to 2022. In 2022, Pauline Yeung-Ha accepted an award as an
Honoree of Women’s History Month Celebration from the Brooklyn DA’s office,
the Brooklyn Borough President’s office and the Brooklyn Chamber of
Commerce. She was one of ten successful Women Business Owners of New
York City nominated for this award. In 2017, she was an Honoree by General
Human Outreach in the Community, Inc. Ms. Yeung-Ha was an Honoree of the
Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc., Brooklyn Branch, for service and
dedication to the Brooklyn Chinese community in 2015, and NAPABA’s “Best
Lawyer Under 40” in 2011.
In 2010, Pauline Yeung-Ha was awarded a Citation awarded by former
Assemblywoman (now Congresswoman) Grace Meng. Ms. Yeung-Ha was also
key speaker for Assemblywoman Grace Meng’s Senior Law & Financial Planning
Workshop. Ms. Yeung-Ha regularly gives community seminars in Cantonese
Chinese on a wide variety of elder law and estate planning topics.
She received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her law degree
from St. John’s University School of Law, and is admitted to practice in both New
York and New Jersey.
