About This Course
During this CLE, attorneys will learn what mindfulness is and what are known as the “attitudinal foundations” of mindfulness. We will explore evidence-based research which demonstrates the ways in which mindfulness can help attorneys reduce stress, and anxiety and connect more fully with the present moment.
Attendees will be guided in a formal mindfulness meditation and have an opportunity to share their experience. In addition to learning a formal mindfulness practice, participants will also learn informal brief practices, which can be used “on the spot” to step out of reactivity and obtain greater ease and balance in daily life.
