About This Course
There are various ways that a decedent's assets may pass or transfer title upon his/her death. This CLE course will familiarize attorneys with the basics of how a decedent's assets may pass or transfer upon his/her death either by contract via non-probate, the titling of an account, beneficiary designation, intestate succession or by will. This course will provide an overview of these types of transfers and the issues that may arise depending upon the decedent's circumstances. This course will also discuss a brief overview of what to anticipate during the probate process.
